During the Covid Lockdown, Sangita started documenting her emotions and feelings about Dance and shot a twelve-minute film out of it. It was also showcased at In/Motion Dance Film Festival at Chicago.
Talking about her inspirations, Sangita gives the topmost position to her mother who supported her art and saw a zeal for dance in Sangeeta. She also feels mesmerized seeing her Guru Smt. Vaswati Misra perform Kathak and is highly motivated by her.
Sangita says that she has failed many times in life and advises everyone not to cling to failure. We should learn to learn from our failures and perfect the art of converting them into opportunities. She says that we should be kind to our failures and strict to our successes.
Sangita feels that Leadership is something that empowers you. A leader should be inspiring and should set examples for their peers. A leader should ignite the hidden potential of a person and let it shine.
If given a Time Machine, Sangita would like to pursue professional singing as her mother was a Singer and wanted Sangita also to be one.
When not dancing, Sangita likes to read, create her own inspirational quotes and also paint a little.
